The price of MRI in government hospitals may range from Php 2800 to Php 6000. It is best to request for an appointment since too many patients may lead to longer waiting times.

Usually, prices in government hospitals are lower compared to private ones. However, bear in mind that since it is public, you may need to spend more time and energy in getting a schedule.

A cheap MRI scan may start with a price for as low as Php 2,800 in special patient programs. Usually, they are found in public or government hospitals. But you can also find affordable prices of the service when you avail of promo packages.

One example of a reduced rate is when you avail executive check up packages which include the test.

Discounted Prices

What Is MRI

How To Prepare

What To Do During Scan

As much as possible, do not move when you are in the machine. Any metals should be removed such as watch, jewelries, keys and coins just to name a few. How long is the result released? It depends on the hospital. Some can provide you within 24 hours others a few days. A fast result is possible within a few hours for patients with critical condition.

If you are too busy during weekdays, you may opt to have a schedule on weekends including Saturday and Sunday. However, it is a good idea to call the hospital first for appointment.

Some hospitals offer appointment during weekends with opening time from 8 AM to 5 PM. Other hospitals can provide you open service of 24 hours MRI test availability.

Usually, you will be given a copy of the results. You will find the results on paper which will also be confirmed by your doctor. The results with pictures and plates can only be read by a professional.

    tanong lang po. merun akong dissability.
    nahulog lang daw po ako sa duyan when i was only 7 months old patagilid daw bagsak ko kaya apektado kahating katawan ko ( left part ) mas maliit yung braso ko at left na paa kaysa kanang parte. nagagamit ko pa rin naman sya. nakapqg jogging ako , push ups at nkabag buhat ng medyu mabibigat .Almost 30 years na nkalipas. Tanong ko lang po, May posibility pa ba na gagaling pa yung dissability ko. Makikita kaya kung saan ang problema kung mag undergo ako ng MRI. Maraming salamat po. sanay mapansin nyu po concern ko.

      Tanging ang doktor lang ang pwedeng mag-evaluate sa kung ano talaga ang nangyari sa iyo. Una, pwede ka niya i-undergo ng physical exam at tanungin kung ano ang history ng iyong disability. Hindi kaagad nirerekomenda ang MRI scan kung walang makitang dahilan ang iyong doktor na gawin ito. Mas mabuting kumonsulta muna sa doktor at siya ang madedesisyon kung anong test ang kailangan.
