Check Up Fees
The consultation fees of doctors will range from ₱500 to ₱1500. Check up rates will depend on their specialization. Those who can perform surgical procedures are more likely to charge higher.

Room rates are different among hospitals. For the most part, public hospitals tend to have similar rates for each type of accommodation.
A cheap hospital room price starts at ₱300 per day.
Take note that these are just estimates. Patients may also get discounts from Philhealth, HMO or senior citizen cards.
Private hospitals may have higher room prices per day. However, they usually have additional amenities and features that the patient may enjoy. For example, some rooms have TV with cable, personal comfort room and a lounge area.

Maternity Packages
The price of maternity package in most hospitals may start from Php 60,000 and above. However, the actual cost will depend whether it is for normal or caesarean delivery. Packages usually include room, surgery, doctors fees, anesthesiologist fee.

Ultrasound – The average price of ultrasound in the Philippines is from ₱1,000 to Php 8,000.
Thyroid Ultrasound – The estimated price of thyroid ultrasound is from ₱2,000 to Php 8,000. In the Philippines, hospitals offer this type of test to diagnose hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism or thyroid cancer.
X-ray – Prices of x-ray in hospitals may range from ₱350 to ₱900 for basic chest, arm, skull, knee and feet.

Rates in Each Hospital
The service prices in hospitals vary depending on their facilities, location and doctors. However, you can still compare their rates to save on medical expenses.
Patients can avail of discounts using their HMO health cards, Philhealth and Senior Citizen IDs. If you have health insurance, you can let it cover all or part of your expenses. It is best to know the medical tests covered by health cards.
Some patients may need financial support from government agencies to pay for their hospital bills. PCSO may accommodate assistance request by simply bringing the necessary documents. Moreover, DSWD also has Malasakit Centers in hospitals to assist indigent patients.
