Check Up Fees
The consultation fee of doctors will range from Php 500 to Php 1500. Check up rates will depend on their specialization.

Room rates are different among hospitals. For the most part, public hospitals tend to have similar rates for each type of accommodation.
Take note that these are just estimates. Patients may also get discounts from Philhealth, HMO or senior citizen cards.
Private hospitals may have higher room rates per day. However, they usually have additional amenities and features that the patient may enjoy. For example, some rooms have TV with cable, personal comfort room and a lounge area.

DNA testing price – Start at Php 14,000 to Php 21,000. Paternity test, relationship test and immigration DNA tests may be availed separately.
Maternity Packages
The price of maternity package in most hospitals may start from Php 60,000 and above. However, the actual cost will depend whether it is for normal or caesarean delivery. Packages usually include room, surgery, doctors fees, anesthesiologist fee.
- Normal Delivery – Php 25,000 and up
- Caesarean Delivery – Php 60,000 and up (excluding professional fees)

Diagnostic tests and other medical procedures are widely available in most hospitals. Provided here are just some of the estimated price rates for each type of test.
Ankle Brachial Index – Php starts at Php 1,200 to Php 5,500 or more
Angiogram – Php 3000 – Php 10,000
Barium Swallow – Starts from Php 3800.
Barium Enema – Php 5,000 and up

Endoscopy (upper) – Php 6,200 and above
CT Scan – May start from Php 4,000 to Php 15,000
Colonoscopy – May start at Php 16,000
Kidney Function Test (Package) – Php 4,800
MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiogram) – Php 8,900 to Php 25,000 (with contrast and plain)
MRI – Starts from Php 5,000 to Php 28,000 for whole body scan
GFR Test – Starts at Php 5,700 to Php 14,000
Urogram (CT Urogram) – Php 9,000 and above
Ultrasound – The average price of ultrasound in the Philippines is from Php 1,000 to Php 8,000.
Thyroid Ultrasound – The estimated price of thyroid ultrasound is from Php 2,000 to Php 8,000. In the Philippines, hospitals offer this type of test to diagnose hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism or thyroid cancer.
X-ray – Prices of x-ray in hospitals may range from Php 350 to Php 900 for basic chest, arm, skull, knee and feet.

Hospitals usually publish their promos. Most of the time, they offer medical packages that allow patients to save money. However, some of the standard discounts that patients may avail are Senior Citizen ID, Philhealth coverage and HMO Health Card usage.
Cheap Hospitals
People will normally consider the best hospital in the Philippines if it has the cheapest price rates of services. It is understandable because patients can concentrate on their healing and recovery without having to worry too much on expenses.
To decide, you must first compare hospital price rates for the service that you need. Generally government hospitals can offer cheaper prices if not for free.
