If you are a resident of QC, you may avail anti rabies injection from recognized centers. You may bring proof that you are a resident of the city. However, animal bite clinics also offer these shots at an affordable price.

The Animal Bite Center in Quezon City Hall could be the primary center where you can avail the free vaccine. The complete anti rabies dosage will be given as long as supplies last.

Notice: The free anti rabies service for patients may no longer be available. The LGU may announce new directives and schedules for residents in the future.

Health Card Covered Tests

Inquire from the city department where you can avail the immunization service. Residents of the city will usually have priority services. However, you may also inquire if the anti rabies vaccine is also available to those living from other areas.

Schedule of Free Anti Rabies

Based on research, the free injection is provided daily from Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. You can go during these times to avail of the vaccination for rabies. Note that this detail may change without notice due to the current situation.

Requirements for Free Anti Rabies in QC Animal Bite Center

The accepted proof of residency include but not limited to postal ID, voters ID or even proof of billing. You need at least two of them in order to avail the service. Bring along your IDs for verification.

Are Residents from Other Cities Qualified?

The free vaccine is only available to Quezon City residents as of the moment as part of the city ordinance. However, we will keep you posted if there are new information.

What Animal Bites Are Covered By The Free Vaccine?

Mostly, dog and cat bites are high risks for rabies. However, their scratches or even when they lick your open wound could be a reason for you to get anti rabies vaccines. Ask the doctor at the center to know more if you need such injection.

Is There A Consultation Fee?

Make sure to go to the center and ask for any additional fees and charges. As of the moment, we only have info on the vaccines. There could be some charges as well. You may also have a consultation with the doctor present at the vaccine center.

  Hi, importante na magpa-check up agad sa doctor lalo na kung ang hayop na kumagat ay namatay. May 10 days na observation period para sa hayop matapos kumagat. Para mapanatag ang loob mo, sana ay makumbinsi mo ang iyong asawa na magpa-check up sa doctor dahil siya lang ang pwedeng mag-evaluate kung kailangan ng anti rabies vaccine o hindi. Tandaan na walang lunas sa rabies infection. Mas mabuti nang maging maagap bago pa lumabas ang sintomas na pwedeng umabot ng ilang araw matapos makagat ng hayop. Kapag ang sintomas ng rabies ay lumabas na, wala nang pag-asa ang pasyente na mabuhay pa. Reference Rabies symptoms

Pede po ba ako mag avail ng freeshot ng anti rabies since 3/3/23 pa po ako nakagat ng tuta namin sa ilong.

  Ang anumang sugat na sanhi ng kagat o kalmot ng hayop ay dapat na ipakonsulta sa isang doctor. Ang QC LGU ay may programa tungkol sa pagpuksa ng rabies.

Hello po nakagat po ako ng pusa yung pusa po may sakit. Mga ilang minutes lang po namatay po sya. Yung kagat nya po sa may daliri ko namaga po sobrang sakit po ni diko na po magalaw kamay at braso ko. Two nights na po nakalipas mula nung nakagat ako.

  Ang anumang sugat dulot ng kagat ng hayop, kasama ang pusa at aso, ay dapat na ikonsulta sa isang doctor. Mahalaga na maagapan ang iyong kalusugan lalo na kung hindi mo alam ang status o sakit ng hayop na kumagat sa iyo. In general, ang doctor ay pwedeng mag recommend ng anti rabies at anti tetanus shots sa pasyenteng nakagat ng hayop. Hindi dapat ipagwalang bahala ang kagat ng hayop.

  Based on our experience yes pwede ituloy sa ibang lugar. Pero dapat may dala kang record ng bakuna na binigay sa iyo sa unang facility. Importante na nakalagay sa record ang lahat ng details ng unang bakuna gaya ng schedule, dosage, number of days, brand, etc.

Gud pm po nakagat po ng aso ang asawa ko last Friday ng gabi sa bandang kamay ok lang po ba na sa Monday na sya magpa vaccine ng anti-rabies wala po kasi open sa government clinic ung aso po namin na nakakagat ay na vaccine ng anti-rabies last month lang po. Need pa rin po ba na magpa vaccine ng anti-rabies ang asawa?….thank you po!

  Importante na mabigyan ng anti rabies shot ang isang tao na nakagat ng aso. More than one shot ang karaniwang kailangan ngunit ang doctor ang magsasabi kung kailangan pa ng succeeding shots depende kung buhay pa ang aso makalipas ng ilang araw. Ikonsulta sa doctor ang inyong kalagayan.
