A hospital inside the campus can serve both the students and the public. Even if you are not a Thomasian, medical services are available to you through the UST Hospital’s range of expertise.

  • CT Scan: Php 4,700 (Cheapest plain, varies per body part)
  • Colonoscopy: Php 9,000
  • Endoscopy: Php 10,000
  • 2D Echo: Php 4,000
  • MRI Scan: Php 5,000 (Cheapest plain, varies per body part)
  • Ultrasound: Php 800
  • X-Ray: Php 700

Consultation Fees

The check up price at UST Hospital starts from Php 700 to Php 1500 depending on the doctor’s specialization. Not all HMOs are accredited so you must check with your provider.

Room Rates

The room price is estimated to range from from Php 1000 to Php 5000 per night and depends on amenities and facilities. The types may include but are not limited to ward, charity ward, private, semi private, de luxe, suite.

The hospital offers health card transactions depending on your available HMO provider. You may wish to get in touch with the facility to request for a list of accredited HMO at UST Hospital.

As a major hospital in Manila, you may use your Philhealth card in order to avail coverage for various medical services. Simply fill out the form and present your card at the billing section. Case rates of Philhealth are based on the type of medical procedure.

  1. It cost us about 21,000 php for cranial MRI with contrast in the new building (John Paul II building of USTH). Is there a more affordable option in a different department of the hospital?

      Thank you for this info. Is the price for “With contrast”? Usually, they are more expensive. With regards to a different department, we do not have info about it since university hospitals usually have a single section for radiology. Unlike for example in St. Luke’s they have different departments with their own machines. With regards to other options, you might want to try contacting Iscan in QC. We had an MRI back then for about Php 5,800 but it is for lumbar. We still do not have their rate for cranial.

    hi do your have an treadmill stress echo, modified bruce protocol and transvaginal UTZ test?if so how much this two cost each or do HMO cover this test like cocolife HMO?
