Room price is a concern for people who need to be confined. Among hospitals, the average cost of room per day is from Php 300 for ward up to Php 11,000 for suites. Many HMOs will cover this amount based on MBL.

What is the Cheapest?

The cheapest rate is Php 300 for a ward in a public hospital. This is applied daily but charity ward is for free.

Among government hospitals, East Avenue Medical Center and PGH have some of the most affordable daily rates.

Can I use my senior ID to reduce the price?

Up to 20% lower price is given to senior ID cardholders. Expenses coverage may range from Php 300 to Php 1,000 according to Philhealth.

What is the coverage amount from health cards?

Can I transfer rooms and upgrade?
