What is the purpose of this test?
PFT means Pulmonary Function Test. This is a procedure to evaluate lung health and diagnose possible diseases. It can measure the size and performance of the lungs when the person inhales and exhales. It can also measure the rate of exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the lungs.

How long does it take to complete the test?
The test may take up to 1 hour to complete. If you need other diagnostic procedures, the doctor will inform you of such.
