Aside from the bank units of hospitals, you may also find centers around the country. Most of them are branches of non-profit organizations where you can also avail of a bag in exchange of other types when necessary.
Is there a free blood for patients?
Note that for the most part, items in non-profit organizations are given for free as they are donated. But the processing and handling expenses are not so patients may need to pay for such.
Most of the time you can avail them from the hospital itself, only that you need to replace it in some other ways like a donation.
