The cheapest price that we have found costs about Php 2,000 in a public hospital. You may find a government hospital that offers the charity test.

What is 2d Echo?

It is a special kind of ultrasound that specifically creates images for the heart. It can provide visual images in terms of the valve functions, the volume of the heart and all other damages and concerns that may be present.

A doppler feature is used to monitor the blood flow in the heart. It uses sound waves to see the blood movement in the organ. The doctor may decide whether you need the additional feature for your session.

Why is it used?

The test provides better imaging processes for the heart. Usually, this is recommended by cardiologist for patients with high risk of heart attack, hypertension and even stroke.

What additional tests are included?

Some 2d echo procedures may be done together with a stress test. This is a separate feature and you may need to inquire first about the price. Contact the hospital or diagnostic center where you will have your 2d echocardiogram.

Will I feel pain during the test?

Not at all. You may simply feel a little pressure as the instrument is used on your body. But it is tolerable and nothing to worry about.

Our parents have experienced the procedure. They are both seniors by the way. The test was relaxing without any discomfort.
