What is Fluorescein Angiography

The test involves a special camera to see the blood vessels in the eyes. Images coming from the equipment is then interpreted by the ophthalmologist for proper diagnosis.

Steps and Procedures

The doctor may drop fluids into the eyes to dilate them. A dye is then injected into the vein for proper imaging. This will take about 10 to 15 minutes. The special camera will then take images of the retina.
