The cheapest price is Php 250 at a public hospital. ECG does not require any preparation so walk ins are accepted.
For the promo package, you can have a routine check up starting from Php 1,240 which includes a blood test as well as an electrocardiogram.
Why Do I Need This?
Through Electrocardiogram, doctors can easily point out if there is a problem with your heart especially in its electrical rhythm. You may have the following symptoms:
- Palpitations or having a squeezing sensation on your chest
- Chest pain near the heart
- Difficulty breathing
- Fatigue and easily get tired
Is there any pain while testing?
No. A sticky plate will be attached to different parts of your body during the test. They are not painful at all.
I for example had the procedure which is included in the routine blood test. Together with lipid profile, the doctor can evaluate and see if I am at risk of a heart disease.
We have discovered that the exam may be modified based on patient needs. One type of the test is called 12L where nodes are attached to the body for monitoring. For this type, the price may start from Php 400 and above.
How can I read ECG results?
Only the medical staff and doctor will provide readings for the procedure. A normal reading will be indicated in the results if there are no suspicious activities of your heart. A patient may need other heart tests depending on the test results.
