Can I walk in for the test?
Yes, you can go to any hospital or clinic and request a number. You will be scanned after a few minutes. However, some centers may have too many patients but walk-ins are accepted.

What should I prepare for the test?
There is nothing to prepare but for those that involve the urinary bladder or kidney, special instructions may be given especially about drinking water.

Not at all. A gel like substance will be applied on the area to glide the machine smoothly. You will not feel any pain.

The procedure will only use sound waves and will emit radiation. Your OB gyne doctor deemed it safe for your baby according to Parents.
