Arm Cast Attachment Price in Philippines

You have a bone fracture? The doctor will decide whether you will need therapy or simply recover with a cast. The arm cast price in the Philippines starts from Php 4,500 to Php 6,000 and above in a public facility. See the price list to compare the cost with or without casting material.

Rates

Arm

We monitored some prices among hospitals and the cheapest we found is Php 3,000 for the forearm. Arm and leg cast prices are based on the materials to be used so there is a price difference with this regard.

Leg

In most cases, the price of arm cast and leg cast is similar. There may be a difference of about Php 1200 to Php 2500 for each type of cast.

In our research, some leg cast options are more expensive and range from Php 28,000 to Php 35,000. This of course will depend on the material.

Cheap Options?

In most public hospitals, cement casting is more affordable and we think that Philippine Orthopedic Center may be a good hospital option.

What can you benefit from an HMO? The actual accident expenses may be covered especially if you proceed to an ER. But I highly doubt that the casting itself will be covered.

Physical therapy may be an option but health cards can only cover a limited number of sessions. For Philhealth, we found that up to Php 10,000 will be covered for highly expensive casts.

Materials for the Cast

We thought arm casts follow a single material use. But apparently, there are two types of them and the prices will differ. You can either have a plaster or fiberglass made cast.

Some patients may need to wear the cast for 4 to 6 weeks depending on the injury and rate of recovery.
